Payments:

We do all of our lesson billing through PayPal. You will be invoiced for your lessons through PayPal and payment is due before the start of the first lesson or first lesson of the package.
Lesson packages must be paid for in advance. Lessons are non-refundable and must be used within 60 days of purchase.
A late fee of $25 will be charged if your payment is not received by the second lesson in the package. Missing lessons does not change the due date of your payment, even if the missed lesson is the first of the package. All lesson payments must be received before makeups will be scheduled.

Cancellations:

Cancelled private lessons cannot be made up. Students will be able to cancel one group lesson per package, with at least 72 hour notice. Packages include 4 lessons. The lesson will still be charged for, but students will be able to reschedule 1 lesson per package. Lessons must be rescheduled for within 30 days of the absence and separate from the regular weekly lesson. It is the responsibility of the client to reach out and ask for a make-up to be scheduled within 30 days of the missed lesson. Please include your availability when doing so. The instructor will offer you 2 slots to chose from to schedule your make up. Once a make up has been scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled. If the student cannot attend the make up, the make up is forfeited. Less than 72 hours notice of cancellation will result in a lesson charge and no reschedule will be offered. If extenuating circumstances arise and a student must reschedule more than one lesson a month they must get approval from their instructor. Lessons cancelled due to extreme weather will not be rescheduled/made up.
Riders who are more than 15 minutes late to the start of their lesson will be considered as a no show. We need to keep the lesson moving, and it is not fair to the rest of the riders or to us when we delay starting the lesson because of a late student. We understand that sometimes unexpected traffic happens and cannot be planned for. In that event please call or text your instructor and we will be happy to start grooming your horse for you so that we can keep the lesson on track.

Extended Absences:

If a rider chooses to be absent from lessons for an extended period of time, but wishes to remain enrolled at Flicka Farms, they must pay a fee of $150 for the first month of the student’s absence to reserve their spot. Beyond 1 month of absence, the full monthly lesson amount must be paid to reserve the slot. Private slots will not be held unless paid for in full. Reserving a slot for an extended period of time only applies to the original lesson slot. The student must return to that lesson slot for their spot to be reserved. This does not apply to leasers who continue to pay their lease during their absence.

Termination and Moving Lesson Day/Time:

If a rider wishes to discontinue or change the day/time of their lessons they must provide one month’s notice of termination of lessons.
